If you think the A&I stuff is high, price real Case/IH. Just the long, notched tie rods were $104.00 EACH in 2000. One note on the A&I stuff, it is good quality, but you cannot set the front end to 44" (narrowest setting) without modifying the A&I parts. The long rod will not collapse deep enough into the tube for the bolt notches to line up without trimming about 3/8" off the long tie rod. This won't hurt anything, unless you ever want to set it as wide as it will go, and I think that would still be OK, too. Of course, I doubt many people set them that narrow, but I needed to for the two-way plow. OEM Tractor Parts has those parts, too, but I'm not sure if they are cheaper.
