Drop the oil pan. Clean the oil pump screen and take the bottom plate off of the oil pump. This plate will be worn from the gears running against it. Have this plate machined smooth. Replace the pressure regulator spring and plunger. Chech the gears for wear(probably will be OK). Put back together with new, very thin gasket and you will have rebuilt your oil pump. Reinstall oil pan with new gasket also. This will most likely bring your oil pressure up to an acceptable level. If your engine doesn't knock or smoke you may be all set. Good Luck. Dave.
