Your M should handle 3 bottoms without much of a problem. Here in Southern Wisconsin we've got some pretty rich stuff, and I can go all day with 3-16's and not really have a issue.

I know a lot of guys on the board have said an M won't handle 3 bottoms, but I just can't fathom that...unless they are talking about working up straight clay or ground that hasn't been touched in two decades. There is no reason that a Farmall M in good tune and running order, shouldn't pull either 3-14's or 3-16's. Just my opinion.
