There is an equipment dealer in Wisconsin that does that exact thing regularly to mainly IH tractors. If I remember right, they also sell adapter kits to do the swap yourself. By my foggy memory, I think it is Link Equipment in Ridgeland, Wis.

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
