Last winter I rebuilt a 706 diesel. It had the D282 engine in it. I also completely rewired it. Seeing that my engine uses glow plugs and yours (D310) doesn't, there is a little difference in the wiring. But a good place to start is at your local CaseIH dealer. They can get you the wiring harnesses, and they have the illustrated parts breakdown pictures in their books. I was able to get 5 of the 6 wiring harnesses that I needed from my dealer, and the last one I made myself. If you still have a generator on your tractor, this is also a good time to convert it over to an alt. and the dealers usually carry the conversion kits. I have an owners manual for my 706 and I think that it has a wiring diagram in it. So E-mail me, so if it does, I can scan it and send it to you. Hope this helps you. [email protected]
