I grew up with a 350U and our neighbor had the Diesel in the same year and type. ( I drove it a lot. The gas would make about 2Hp more in the field pulling 3-14 FH plows in clay based soils. The D was using only 2/3 the fuel. Both of those tractors are still with their original owners (mine is in the gallery to the left) The Contenental Diesel is rather rare in terms of replacement parts and major components. They are fine engines and give great service. They are cold natured and require a squirt or two of ether to fire in the dead of winter (Northern Indiana W/O engine block heater) I think if the tires are good to 90% and the steering box is operational and pretty tight, that it is a good price.
