Hi Bewildered, wonder if someone installed a 12" clutch instead of 11" and its is riding up on the edge of flywheel? Clutch is installed backwards? Springs on clutch plate should be away from flywheel, but I believe this would cause center of clutch plate to limit on flywheel.
Wrong release bearing? Should be about 3/4" thick with a Teflon wear surface towards the pressure plate fingers.
