IH 404 overhaul

Any one know of a way to pull piston sleeves on the 404 C135 engine, if i can keep from it i dont want to buy a puller for what is most likely a one time use.
Also i split the tractor and removed the clutch several months ago and when getting ready to send clutch parts out for recondition i found a cylinder about the size of the release bearing and i dont remember where it came from. Is it possible it rides on the clutch sleeve between the release bearing and the pressure plate?
