Front End Swap???

I've been poking around the internet to find out if a power steering setup from a 2444 will swap out with a non power set up on a 424. From what I can tell, it looks very similar but they're across the county from each other so it's tough to do a side by side comparison. The 424 is SN-01776 and the 2444 is SN-06038D. I don't know if that helps or not. It seems that the steering column and valve under the gas tank will have to move over to the 424... Other than that, it looks like it will all just bolt up under the nose of the 424 but I'm not sure. I'd rather get some expert opinions before spending the money and having parts pulled and sent to me to find out they won't fit. Thanks in advance for your time, steve in sc
