I had the same problem and soaked the offending cylinder with all kinds of liquids to free the piston. In the end I pulled the head and pan and had to take the piston out in pieces. The cylinder wall was in good shape even after all of that and I was able to put everything back together using a replacement piston. The one thing that I learned is that it is good to take it apart to see what damage is done to avoid further complications. Good luck with the M!!
