Patrick, My Farmall also is a 1951. I started out with charging the battery, cleaning the electrical points of contact. Started to fill the gas tank and gas came out top of glass bowl. Gasket from NAPA to thin? Plan on making my own. Can't tell you how much this forum means to me, though must say some of these guys intimidate me with their knowledge. Bob
