Super-A, You're right, it's bent, and it does mount to the inside arm on the hydraulic lift unit, but there's no spring (according to the A-144 cultivator manual). You are missing the collar (w/set screw) to place against the swivel to allow downward pressure on rear-mounted implements which do have springs on their down-links. But that collar has to be removed or loosened and moved out of the way when using an implement that rises on uneven gound (like a 3-pnt rotary cutter) or the lift link rod will get bent (you can guess how I know that).
