Guys, I am not familiar with IH balers and was looking for some expertise. I have a chance of buying a 46 baler with a 10 thrower on it. The only problem I see with the baler is the axle on the plunger side. Where the cast axle offset bolts to the baler, it appears to be bent, making the baler sit lower than it should. Is there anything else to be wary of? I am used to running a NH 273 baler & thrower. The thrower needs drive belts. Also, the thrower seems to be in a fixed position. Can a person add a hydraulic ram to make it swing? I have smaller fields and would lose a lot of bales on the turns. Thanks for your time!
