Al, those wonderful days are memories for most of us. This year there is no Fall Fair in Exeter Ontario, the first time in 153 years that there is no Fair. There were not enough people interested in helping set it up and operating it. Committees grew old and no new people were replacing them, a few deaths of our seniors who promoted the Fair and whammo...the fair is cancelled..I hope by next year we can get it going but the interest has waned for several years...keep those memories of you and you family at the Fair...Mike in Exeter Ontario

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights. The garden was already sprouting when we hooked up the mid-mount shovel cultivators to the Pony.
