If you plan on hiring that work out, you better have pretty deep pockets. When you're done you'll probably have 5x or more into the little tractor than what it would bring at an auction. In refurbishing old tractors a person generally needs to do their own work. Even then it's not hard to end up with 2-3x into a project what it is actually worth. However, when repairing "grandpa's" tractor, all the rules change. One cannot attach a dollar value to such a project. Enjoy the process, and all the folks you meet/deal with along the way. That's the most fun part. WARNING: tractor collecting and refurbishing/restoring is addicting. Glenn F.

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
