424 Distributor..again..Bob

Bob,
Went to check the thread about my 424 distributor this morning and it was 5 pages buried,so just bringing it back up..
I'm not running any kind of resistor with that pertronix ignition,so that very well could be the problem.. Would it be better to run one of the ceramic resistors or to get a coil that truly doesn't need one?or is that even an option,got no problems adding a resistor if thats
what it needs..
