Hi Don, from I&T Shop Service manual:
Tighten cylinder head retaining caps crews in three steps using the sequence shown in figure 35. Tighten the cap screws to a torque of 30 ft-lbs. first step, then 60 ft-lbs. in second step and 90 ft-lbs. in third step. JB2
