Here I go reading old IH manuals again - but sounds like you need a pair of what IH called "disk hillers" in the owner's manual for the McCormick model A-144 Cotton and Corn Cultivator for the Super-A. According to the manual, you remove the standards (front inner plow pair) next to the row, and clamp the disk hillers in their place. Those 13" disks should throw as much dirt (or as little) as you would want on the row.
They also offered a "potato hiller attachment" which looks somewhat like a curved solid-steel mouldboard with no plowpoint. Might be some somewhere...
