I think it is a supply and demand issue. On Ford
8N, 2N, and 9N most of the engine and major parts are the same. They made almost a million Ns. The H was the most popular IH with less than 400,000 made.
So there is a lot bigger market for Ford parts.
They can be made in larger quantities and therfore at a lower cost.
