Howard: What Kirsch is talking about regarding the No.60, there are 4 models; 60-2bottom, a 60 3 bottom reducable to 2, a 60L 3 bottom which can't be reduced but it can be turned into a 60 4 bottom.
I don't know as the same applies to a No.8. Problems with the 60L is all three beams come all the way forward to the hitch. The right rockshaft crosses all 3 beams. The big kicker is right rockshaft crosses directly above shin of first bottom, left roackshaft crosses directly above shin of second bottom. Rockshafts are much further ahead on 2-3 bottom plow, probably close to 15". If you try to make a 2 bottom out of the L frame you have to move those rockshafts and front wheels forward, or the plow will nose dive. I asked kirsch if his plow beams are drilled for moving shafts forward, he has not answered that particular question.
