The old cut outs and regulator work just fine with the wires going where they belong and good connections. I have several Bs and As with the original stuff and they just work but some people get the ground wrong and who knows what else and have trouble. Dont know about any solid state stuff as mine are all original and they just work. Supplier says the old cut-outs arent avail as they were replaced with a regulator.
