I'm no 424 expert, but it's pretty rare for a hydraulic pump to just quit all at once unless there's a major failure. Am I correct in thinking that a 424 has just a regular gear type pump? If so, you should be able to take it apart and inspect it. Unless it's got a broken drive gear, drive shaft, or pump gear, it should pump at least some oil. With a gear pump that's totally worn out, you would have noticed the hydraulics getting slower and weaker over a long period of time. Could you have a releif valve sticking open? If you call the dealer, talk to the service department before you talk to the parts department.
