I'll be giving a look. A drain plug can't be TOO hard to find and I knew that when I wrote above.
I will ask this... well, I'll first make a statement. It seems water has found its way in here since the oil that is here, looks more like a semi-melted milk shake rather than motor oil. It's a light tan color and is creamyyyyyyyyyy smooth...
I'm going to drain it but I think it would also be a good idea to flush it and try to get as much of this out as I can.
Would you (or anyone) recommend:
1. Drain... then fill with perhaps a lighter weight motor oil.... buzz around the field for 10 minutes, then drain again...refilling with heavier motor/gear oil
2. Drain... then fill with normal gear oil and forget it however, perhaps change it again later in summer, after a handful of hours use.

Oh... luck of all luck... since the oil here is not the hydraulic fluid, it would seem the hydraulic pump is toast. I saw this leak, knew the hydraulic filler was "on top" of this section (little did I then realize they were simply stacked compartments, mutually exclusive of each other).
I figured while I was going to refil the hydraulic fluid, I may as well fix this leak...
Got the PTO leak fixed today, VERYYYYYYYy low on oil...however, the hydrauilc fluid above, is near full and my hydraulics are dead, including the power steering.
I sometimes wish I had a nice cliff nearby for this thing... :wink:
