I researched the trailer issue to no end. I ended buying a heavy duty car hauler trailer because it was cheaper than a over the wheels flat deck...the trailer works okay. I hauled a M, a WD-6 and a SMTA and it"s well match to my tow vehicle. If I could do it again I would go bigger- get a 1 ton or 3/4 ton truck and a gooseneck flatbed.... but that cost"s $$$. At least get the bumper pull, deck over the wheels flatbed. That will save you some headaches loading... Keep in mind old semi trucks/heavy duty trucks are pretty cheap compared to a new 1 ton pickup and trailer..
