First tractor of a series

I would like to know if the first or last tractor of a series has anymore value than any other tractor in the line up. I would think the first 100 or so would prbably more valuable but I do not know.
Are there records available to find out what options a tractor came out with like john deere and case have. If so where do you get that information?
