Ken - I was just flipping through my manual, and I saw a picture of the bracket for the rod. The best way to describe it, would be that it looks exactly like a clamp you would see holding a piece of electrical conduit to a wall. However, it is kind of backwards. The part that is circular (where the conduit would sit) has a hole in it. Through this hole is a screw into the light tree. The other hole (the one you would screw through when hanging conduit) has the choke rod run through it. p.s. - it hangs upside down. -Matt
