IT manuals are inexpensive and there are some things in them that are not in the IH manuals. It says on the cover that they are "written for the experienced mechanic by professionals". They do not go into great detail and assume you know what they leave out. IH and IT complement each other. I would not buy IT if I did not have the IH manuals, though. Unless you are indeed an experienced mechanic (who only needs the specifications, not the procedure, for what they are doing anyway), they are not "stand alone" manuals.
