Mom and Dad back in ND had an electrical storm over the weekend. Lightning struck the phone junction box on the corner of the house. Burned out the high speed wireless internet modem, the computer monitor, and all the phones that were plugged in. They said it burned the plates right off the wall in the computer room! The cordless phone base was too hot to touch. Damage will cost them about $500 by the time we replace everything that burned out. Glad to hear you got your computer fixed. I have finally found a computer shop that is owned by 1 guy all by himself and he is helpful and has fair prices. Replaced the hard drive in my laptop for $100 even - the hard drive itself cost $80 of that. Awesome guy!
