Well, from the looks of it, I'd say it about has to be intended to move that peice it's attached to on the front of the small shaft....moves something inside the bellhousing/tourque tube area. But like I said I don't remember anything like that on the H I used to run(it was a Super). I'd bet good money though that somebody on here will know exactly what it is!
