You should go for the step head piston. The gas we have today compared to when these tractors weremade can stand the extra compression. The 1?8 oversize is accomplised with thinner walled sleeves. Most of these kits are good quality. Many of the kits come from the same manufacturer. If you really want to make your tractor run nicer get a camshaft from a Farmall 340 or a 504. You wont believe the didderence. I can get you the Tisco kit and thr camshaft.
