This subject has been addressed many times on here.

Now I don't catch everything on these forums but I've never heard anyone mention Renu.

I had a bad gas tank on a MTA and took it to a Renu dealer and they did a great job on it.

They bead blast the tank and line the tank with something I believe.

That was 11 years ago for me and it hasn't cause a problem since.

Do a web search for Renu gas tank.

Worked great for me.
