My insuance paid for ours during a tropical storm called Floyd in 1999. Lots of power lines were down and when then they restored the electric service for some reason it kept going off and on and the computer couldn't withstand that. I took the computer to a repair shop and they said it would cost more than it was worth. I called the insurance company since I knew there would be lots claims. They sent me a check for the full amount.Hal PS: It's too crowded around here anymore. You may be better off in NE.
