Brad: The gurgling and bubbling is quite normal for a thermosyphon cooling system. You can reduce this by letting the tractor idle 2-3 min. after being at working temperature. This system relies very heavily on the fan cooling the liquid with tractor not under load for that few min. I have a Super A, very original cooling system, it's never been flushed in the past 25 years. Been drained a few times, for changing coolant, other work on tractor, etc. It has been gurgling and bubbling at shut down for at least 33 years, and I suspect 53 years would be more accurate.
