Red: Very little smoke at start-up and during service. What little I see is black. No blue smoke that I can tell. When running properily, I can start in 5th gear from a dead stop. The oil pressure is very strong, even during a hot idle. The head was reworked this past summer. What is the difference between Champion D21 and AC C86? Also, would a compression check be in order? If so, what is the recommended source for the tools? Does Sears have compression testers? Thanks for your input. Larry
