656 Farmall

The PTO on 656 is starting to slip when under heavy load, feed grinder or round baler toward end of bale. It runs 57 rake, manure spreader, sprayer pump okay. Is there an adjustment or something I can check. I don't have a 600psi hydraulic gauge but is there a simple way to check and adjust or do you just put in new clutch pack?
