On my H, the biggest problem with removing everything from the rear end was the snap-ring on the bottom transmission shaft. Its under the pinion gear for the differential. These snap-rings are the old style - round. I couldn't get any of my snap-ring pliers to get a bite on it. One day of blood blisters, broken fingernails, and lots of choice words, I finally got it with a couple of screwdrivers. GOOD LUCK! :-) ken
