Yep, you need to have a pressure tester on there. You'd be amazed at how fast those pressure testers make the leaks show up. Since the D-282 is dry-sleeved, the only places water can get to the oil is through a crack or past the head gasket. You need heat and/or pressure to make those leaks show up. If you've got a tank heater, plug it in for a few hours, attach the pressure tester, pressurize to about 10 psi, and leave the tank heater plugged in. Just keep an eye on the guage, as the heat could cause the pressure to rise. Don't let it get too close to 15 psi, as that could cause a weak radiator tank-to core seam to split.
