The good news is that once you get to the TA, it's not too difficult to repair. The bad news is, to get to it, you've got to split the tractor twice. Not exactly safe or easy unless you've got a hard, level surface to work on, an overhead hoist of some sort, and some heavy-duty stands. To do it yourself, you will probably end up with $1000 in parts into it, as you would have to be crazy not to replace the main clutch and have the flywheel resurfaced while you've got it apart, and you need to figure in 15 gallons of good hydraulic fluid.
