At any farm auction around here, that wide-front H would bring close to a $1000, probably more.
In reality, the initial cost of an old tractor will be the cheaper part of the restoration project. By the time you get done completing it to your standards, you will have long forgotten what a "good deal" you got on it to start with.
The one thing about this particular tractor that can be said; it certainly appears as if the seller is trying to be as honest as possible.
