Ghopper, I hate to tell you this story but maybe it will point you in the right direction. I had a 584 damaged in a storm that knocked the machinery shed flat three years ago. I was insured and sent the tractor to the local Case-I-H dealer. My hood was toast and the new one was $1400 , taken care of by my insurance company, If I had to pay I would have been checking all the wrecking yards for one and having it repainted, thats a lot of bread for some sheet metal...Mike in Exeter Ontario
