That is probably not a bad idea on the 2.5. That would mean more like a 8-10:1 ratio I think. If I use the rack setup, it will take care of the correct ratio. I will keep the axle to around 45-50 inches. It will be in line with the inside/center of the rear tire. I will also go by the look I am going for too. Since it is a puller, I will be on flat ground for the most part.
