Mitch: According to the IH operators manual you need 4 - 5/8" N.C. x 3-3/4" for the pressed steel wheel and 4 - 5/8" N.C. x 5-3/4" for the cast wheel. Those are carriage bolts and do not need to be grade 8. They do recommend lock washers. I couldn't believe my luck last week. Went to our local Antique show, which hosts a large number of flea market vendors. Marg. wanted to go and I told her I was looking for manuals and wanted to be there early before items got picked over. We were and within 5 min of walking through the gate, I had an original IH 140 operators manual, an IH Blue Ribbon 140 chassis servive manual and a manual for my 1 point fast hitch disk harrow. Three books and all in excellent condition. Watch the summer time antique tractor shows with flea market items, folks. It can be very rewarding.
