We've still got N.A.P.A. and the countermen there are very knowledgeable and experienced. They do use computers to look up part numbers, but they still know how to open the big books and look for things there also. They can't always find the part you might be looking for, but they do at least know what you are talking about. O'Reilly's came to town a few years ago and thought they would just take over and run the other guys out. We all tried the new guy in town, but it didn't take too long and we all went back to the guy that knew what he was doing.

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights. The garden was already sprouting when we hooked up the mid-mount shovel cultivators to the Pony.
