I had a leak on my Super A in the same spot and used JB Weld to fix it a few years ago. It has not leaked. However the Super A does not have a pressurized radiator system... not sure about a 140 and if that would make a difference anyhow. My thinking was like yours.. if JB Weld doesn't work can always get it soldered.
