I farmed with primarily IH equipment, but I also had some NH, MF, Case and Deere. In fact the Deere was the last new piece of equipment I bought. I can tell you, had I continued farming, there would have been more Deere equipment.

Having said all that, I have not changed my thoughts over the past 40 years. I've yet to see the perfect tractor. I have not seen any tractors from the old line up of mainline companies of the 60s, that didn't have at least one feature I liked. This spring I have been operating some new and some of the largest tractors from CaseIH, New Holland and Deere. I have not changed my opinion on the perfect tractor, I've yet to see it. Yes, there were features I liked about each and everyone of those articulated tractors, but no one has it perfect.
