My neighbor has an Int. 424 with live hydraulics and a 3 pt. but no remote. He purchased a valve that he wants me to install to give him a remote hook-up out the back. He does not have a manual for the tractor and I am not familiar with this model (too new for me), but I looked at it and it appears there are a couple of knobs in the center below the seat on a control valve that may have something to do with the three point hitch. I have read several archive posts here on similar subjects and I believe the oil flow can be re-directed from the 3pt arms to a remote by turning one or both of these knobs. I also noticed a 1/2" pipe plug in the same area of the knobs. Would this be the area to pipe in the remote? If yes, can I assume the 3 pt control lever would then operate the remote? If yes, I also assume this would give him a remote with one-way power. I would appreciate any input on how to hook in for a remote. I don't think I want to tap in to the tractor hydraulics to mount the new valve he has purchased. Thank you for your replies!
