Put 4 different marks on one of your tires that you can see when driving. Then go out and drive in 1st gear, then 4th gear. If you get the clunk at the same 'place' when the wheel rotates then you could have a bull gear problem.Or Axle. Possibly axle movement due to broken inner bearing. Can you feel the clunk as a lateral movement in the tractor? Drain the fluid again, save it of course, and then remove PTO. See whats in the bottom of that tranny.If you find large ball, or bearing retainer pieces it's an axle problem. GordoSD
