I went out to the barn and pulled the stick out of a red 51 cub. I put a wire up in the cap to where the cap would sit on the tube that is in the engine block. the stick is 10 1/2".
From up inside the cap to the full mark is 7".
From the full mark down to the add mark is 1 3/4".
