I would imagine that what you saw was nothing more than a Farmall 350 diesel wearing H sheetmetal. IH did have an experimental H with a TA, but none of those ever made it out of the factory, I doubt very much if IH ever experimented with a diesel engine in an H. If they had, the Farmall 300 would have been offered with an optional diesel engine.
