I just picked up a 1948 Farmall H and brush hog for $200. I had originally been quoted $600 for the pair thinking that it needed a new head gasket or possible cracked head(water in oil). When the owner went to move it he found that the engine was froze.

My questions are... How bad is the engine overhaul? Where is the best place for parts or kits? Is there any place on the web that has free instructions, guides, or info on the process.
